About · Inova Solar s.r.o.
From sun-tracking to the whole life of a solar panel.
The company was founded in 1994 by Vladislav Poulek to build solar trackers — the TRAXLE tracker that still gives the brand and this website their name, with reference installations from southern Europe to the deserts of Asia.
Over three decades it has grown into something broader. Operating today as Inova Solar s.r.o., the work centres on the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) gel that makes photovoltaic panels heat-resistant in manufacture, renovatable on site, and cleanly recyclable at end of life — the four answers set out across this site.
Heritage
Three decades of solar engineering.
1981 · Origin
The first tracker
Vladislav Poulek designs his first solar tracker as a young engineer.
1994 · Founded
The company begins
Established to produce TRAXLE trackers — a patented tracking design — and complete photovoltaic systems.
2012 · Research
Peer-reviewed work
Published, peer-reviewed research into silicone-gel encapsulation and PV field reliability.
2026 · Monograph
The science, set down
Poulek et al. publish a monograph on polysiloxane gel lamination — renovation, recycling, and repowering.
The team
Academic-industrial, not pure marketing.
Vladislav Poulek studied at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU Prague, worked at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and held a post-doc at the Limburg University Centre in Belgium before founding the company in 1994.
The monograph's co-authors — Beránek, Finsterle, and Kozelka — hold or are completing doctorates at CTU and the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The register is deliberately restrained: claims are measured, hedged, and cited rather than amplified.
The TRAXLE mark — carried from the tracker era into today's encapsulation work.
