Encapsulation material

Thus, development of materials with high light and thermal stability for use in PV panels (including CPV) is urgently needed.The main factor determining the operational life of PV modules is the encapsulation material (encapsulant).

Silicone gel encapsulant

Encapsulant is a protective material completely enveloping and isolating the photovoltaic cells from moisture, heat and mechanical damage and providing good optical contact between the surface of the PV cells and the protective outer coating.
